I thought he was running a 32 or 33 pinion with that setup? If you search this thread I think he posted it up before.

I have not tried it yet, but that mod is not necessary if you shim the ring gear properly.

yup, aka tire glue with some kicker does the job nicely.

I could be mistaking... but I think you do have them on backwards...

You can see the R 1.0 should be on the right hand side of the car...

from the picture it looks like you have it on the left..

Actually he has them on right . R and L are marked from looking at the front of the car , unlike most others .

Great that this came up, this is easy to miss and the new V3 owners need to know if they try out different hubs.

I put the caster blocks on the wrong side when I built the first kit and was wondering why it handled a little odd! Turned in great!

This mod is not meant to be set and forget either, you still have to shim it with this mod. This supplement just makes it more rigid so at higher impacts the bevel gear does not move as much. kinda why they sell it with Alu diff hoops.

Either way I am very dissaponted in the material quality of the ring gear. like I said in myprevious post BNIB ring gear had extreme porosity on the tips of the gears. I think that really is the only draw back of the car.

Is that why they sell a machined gear? So you do not have to worry about the stock cast??

Is it possible to run the JConcepts B44.1 wheels? I'd like to have some options when it comes to wheels.
