Electronics: Think small. Tekin RS Pro works very well.
Servo: High speed, high torque, high dollar. Don't go cheap, it's for a DEX410!

The 410's can use Associated B44 front/rear, XXX4 rears (about 1mm wider offset), and JConcepts B44 Rulux front/rear, BUT, the DEX410 wheels work best for me. Seem to be stronger, and take a lot of abuse without getting tweaked. The Associated B44 fronts seem to be the weakest.

Finished building my dex410r today. The shock towers are thicker than the ones on my 1/8 buggy

Just to confirm, the shocks are the same between the 410 and the R? The only differences are misc. non-alloy chassis parts correct?

Mostly ture but they did make a lot of the alloy parts with plastic, Alooy shock towers not carbon, steel turnbuckles not titanium, and the side skirts are plastic as well. Other than that the 2 kits are the same. I think they will have an upgrade kit for the 410R later on with all the carbon and alloy goodies. I'm just interested in getting the parts for 25mm lipo clearance.

ok love the look of the dex410 and just the overall quality.

I got a question that may get me flamed but I will ask anyway. I would like to run 1/8th 17mm buggy wheels on the dex410. Is that possible? Anyone know of a adaptor kit?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think there are any adapters out there for the durango but you might be able to get adapers for the Slash or SC10 to work.

I do have to ask why though? If your doing just to bash arround why not get a 4WD short cource truck? I think the size and exra weight on the 1/8 wheels/tires would not be good on your electronics or the Durango in general.

Ive been running 25mm high lipos on my dex410 since day 1. You just need to raise the spur gear holders with washers and dremel a little of the battery holder.
