I'm thinking of running 5/3k in mine when the v3 lands

Also noticed a few people are running 10k all round.

Ran the 410r for the first time on Saturday, well, make that attempted to run as I only made it half a lap before the front/outer pivot block broke (decent hit). Replaced that and made it another half lap before it broke again (landed a bit nose down on the right front off a medium jump). Pretty disappointed with the durability of that part Found the outer block in aluminum but the inner seems to be out of stock everywhere; anyone have a source I could 2day air to California?

What's a safe pinion to start gearing at in the V3 with a 6.5 viper combo? I'm running on a 160' by 80' offroad track.

Also on another note, TD when will the new style bodies be in stock here in the U.S.???

Yes in the UK

So will be running mod motors etc. Got a LRP x12 6.5 and SP GT2 ESC for it to test and then if I like it my Team Orion R10 and motor will come out of the TRF511

The club I run www.torchracing.org.uk

I'll send across my setup I used at Torch and Taplow, both high grip. But in summary:
-Thick rollbars (2mm front, 1.5 rear)
-cutting 3 rows off the outer and 2 inner front, then 3 outer on the rear and 1 inner
Car was very easy to drive and had much better forward traction than with mini spikes and much much better traction than stagger ribs (which belong on a 2wd)

Weather looks ok for sunday, shouldnt need a wet setup!

With the stock spur I would start with a 22 or 23 and play with boost settings if there is a 160' straight. I'm not familiar with the Viper stuff, but with an LRP Octa 6.5 and LRP ESC (3-2-0-2) I have a 22 pinion on a pretty tight indoor asphalt supermoto style track that's 100' x 50' (80' straight) and the motor is temping about 150F. Might drop one tooth eventually. Make sure to find out what the Viper motor temp limit is and stay under that to keep from burning it out.
