It seems like when I break something, it's not something I've broken before.

Wear items are the dust boots on the shocks and driveshafts, I keep an extra set on hand, they last pretty well actually.
The amount of parts breakage seems to be directly disproportional to the amount of horsepower you are running. The guys running low wind motors do seem to break some of these parts occasionally. I've been running a 13.5 and although I'm a few 10ths slower on the track, the only part I've had to replace since adding Tresrey servo saver and rear hubs is a striped spur gear becasue I didn't get the motor tightened down. These seems to be the stock parts that let go the most often for me.

I'm in the process of doing that at this very moment.
I'm making heavier, and lighter brass side weights, and a couple of Tresrey style rear weights that fit between the diff and the batts. I don't really like the rear TD weight, it seems to make the tail swing in the corners.

I'm running a 13.5

Seems like I break most when people hit me, honestly.

Hi again lol,
I was just looking through the option parts for the dex410 and saw that there were big bore shocks. Just wondering if anyone has ran these yet and noticed any difference?

Default Diff Fluid

My kit came with 100,000k and 50,000k weight. Is that the equivalent to 10k & 5k AE or Losi fluids?

Should be able to get a lunsford or maybe a touring car turnbuckle for less than that.

Started to put together my new 2010 Spec this weekend! I've read all the talk on shimming the diffs up before starting so I expected to be fiddling for hours to get them "just so" but to my surprise there was no excess play beyond the two stock shims in either of them.. So do these diff cases loosen up after a while, or did I just get lucky? The lash feels great too!

Has anyone put 12mm hexes on the rear hubs and didn't have to do any mods to the car.
