Used grapejuice's setup last night at the track and it ran extremely good compared to the first time I ran it. It handles great. Thanks for the help.

Just about done with the build finally.

Have to mount the electrics and paint a scrub body.

Question. How do you all tighten up the screws on the motor?

L-Wrench? Ball End Hex?

Thanks for any advice.

One other thing. Anyone have any experience with one of the large center spur bearings being tight? Non free spinning? Seems like this bearing is binding the center part of the entire drivetrain.

I used an L wrench. I wish Elite RC made a mount for the 410.

get cap head 3mm motor screws. and a 3mm ball end hex driver. its byfar the easiest way

It's built correctly. There are chips on some of the teeth, because they're not updated ring gears... yet. I'll probably disassemble them tomorrow and take some pictures.

PS, I've got a venom 4500mah 50c saddle for sale. I just switched to a racers edge battery.

It works fine, I just wanted to try something different. $50 shipped

Bad news from the new build.

The front half of the slipper unit, the part on the front side, the larger piece with the machined threads was warped, never hit anything today at the racetrack and didn't notice it until it was a problem.

The machined part that is threaded is misaligned from machining causing the entire back half of the assembly where the tension nut and other drive cup goes to wobble severely. This caused the drive pin on the rear to basically wear in half after 6 minutes of runtime and loosened up the setscrew on the trans gear which eventually broke a tooth on the ring gear.

Going to contact distributor tomorrow.
