Traction is traction no matter where you have it. When you need to put the power down, you can. If you can't, slip should come from the slipper clutch, and not the differential.

So the 410 does not come with tires? for $650 I would think tires would be a nice added touch.

No the DEX410 kit does not come with tires. I like having a choice of tires.

Every track needs different tires (UK races on astroturf, some race on clay, some loose dirt), so for most companies, including tires in a kit that is already very expensive is a HUGE waste of money. Most people don't use ANY kit tire for any off road car out of the box, so if they can knock $30 off the price of the kit and keep their European tires out of the kit, I'm fine with that.
