Default much room for the electronics

will likely get one once it is released. I just hope I don't have to sell the farm to do it.

You are right there isn't much room for the electronics but I currently have a Mid44 and it has very little room for electronics as well.

Get ready to shell out some serious cash, durango don't sell there stuff cheap. The bad part is that it's a must have in my book, and also I just bought a B44.

Well I talked to my dad, he fortunately remembers how much Durango cost before - 1000 Euros.

Thats the way they where here in the states, like $1200. But there where two guys at my local track that where running them, and they where incredable.

I check the Team Durango home page and looks like I'll get a chance to see this car in person in 2 weeks at the Reedy International Race of Champions at Yatabe Arena. I'll see if I can get a few snap shots while I'm there.

Man....i'll tell you guys , i haven't driven a 4WD 1/10 in about 3 years. And i was just getting ready to buy a new B44 ( which i think i still will) BUT....this buggy is something i would love to have.

I think when it does finally get released , it may be a while before REDRC will be able to stock up on all the parts they are going to need. I think i'll wait until it's been out for while , but HOLY CRAP that buggy is Beautiful!! Very well thought out design. Things looks smokin' fast just sitting there!

As far as price goes.....i dunno if i agree with some have mentioned ( $1000.00 ?) Since i don't think serpent has anything to do with it any more , and besides their flagship 960 ( onroad 1/8 scale) kit can be bought for under $550.00. IF it's an REDRC ONLY car....i think to stay competitive with others like the B44 , XXX-4 , D4 and so forth....i don't see them trying to get more than $500.00 for this kit....and that's pushing it....especially in this economy!

Either way....this is a car i'm going to be looking at real hard when it's released.

Well I was able to look at this buggy at the Reedy race held at Yatabe over the weekend. The buggy is very impressive. Talking to the Japanese team they are shooting for a may release date and they are also shooting for a price around $700 USD. The buggy is a little heavy but only 50g heaveier than the Hotbodies D4. Here is a pic:

Cheers!
