Default shocks

doesn't matter I quit useing shocks a long time ago because of the confusion. I weight the car accordingly to spring rates. very plush ride

Randy P ..Is that what they were doing ? I told my son not to watch, as I felt that action was inapproaite for r/c..guess I should of been watching from the front..not the back...: couldn't help it. Reminded me of the nitro guy with the pull start...still cracks me up.

Oh well

have fun racing guys

I dont believe that emulsion type shocks add to inconsistent handling. If any thing I believe its more consistent and more direct. There is no need to physically move a bladder about to get the desired effect. It happens automatically with emulsion. I check the car after every run and the shocks are fine. No handling inconsistencies either. If anything, with the shock boots the oil stays crystal clear and prevents dirt from entering the shock and I think dirty oil is more of a bastard than anything else. That will create more inconsistencies than anything else. The best performing vehicles at my track are running on emulsion type shocks, so there is something to it.

I was wondering with the bladder setup though, does the nut on top of the piston hit the bladder at all during compression?

Not with the boot or the rubber stopper on the shaft and that keeps dirt out just as well as the boot. I am not saying bladders are the holy grail but I am just suggesting that for 5-15 bucks it is worth a try for you guys. The isolation factor is proof in itself.

I am not a big sticker fan. I just have one small Durango sticker on mine on each side.

Yeah, no stickers on good paint. Blah! Some guys do work quite a bit of stickers in with their paint scheme and look good. I usually find that a nice paint job suffers from too many stickers.

I've been blingin mine out with blue to match my AE turnbuckles.

Broke a front carbon shock tower last night.

I almost moved the pole, though.

Yuji e-mailed me and has one set aside from a previous order for me. I should have it in time for the Rumble

If you try to get one now you'll be waiting until March as they only got a small % of their stock in from Germany.

I'm building a all new DEX410 from the ground up with a lot of Tresrey goodies and other improvements. I'm going to try the rear shock setup like Reaper has and then I'm going to give it to Grape for some testing and setup stuff
