the ip's you can get on ebay cheap. i had the 6000mah in my old b44. i also have 4 of there stick packs. 2 years old some were run in escale (series-ed together) still plenty of punch and still take a full charge. i didnt pick the packs in my rango, if i did id be rocking out the ip's. the orions are awesome too but they too come w/ the big price tag.

Somehow that deal just doesn't seem fair.

lol

How many of you are running the 1* hubs? I haven't tried them yet, but I also haven't had much time to wrench on the car. I'll probably head to the track tomorrow and start tuning.

Damn bud, I'm running a 13.5 as well and we are not even close to the same gearing. I'm running 31/87 with my Tekin Redline

I am running the new Trak PowerDark Series 4650's

This pack is the best pack I have ever owned. Hands down

The cells keep there balance perfectly even after running it all the way down to cutoff.

I would say it depends on the track really....I for sure don't need them.

Same here, 24/87 and absolutely ballistic with a Murfdogg 13.5T. I ran the Redline motors earlier this year on a 80 x 40 track and had to run +10 degrees of mechanical timing to get them to compare. If you have an opportunity to run a Murfdogg Synergy Motor, you'd be pleasantly surprised or check them out at www.murfdogg.com.

Battery: SMC Extreme, 5200, 50c fits great and decently priced.

The DEX410r does come with the bright yellow wheels (no tires). The smallest electronics will work the best, due to the lack of realestate on the chasis. The Spektrum Micro Rx seems to be the way to go and any of the big 3 ESC manufacturers (Tekin, LRP, Novak) will fit well. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and get the buggy out to the track soon after!

You running any timing advance? I bet those other guys are, when gearing a 13.5 w/ timing advance, you gear it just a little higher then you would with a mod motor.
