Im sorry, but you must be ....well... no name calling.... if ithe tekin is hard to program to your radio. Set your EPA to full, hold down the mode button till it beeps, set neutral (beep), set full throttle (pull the trigger and let it beep), then go full brake (till it beeps)...then wait till its done.... and it will beep again, and you are done.

Dlewis- no need to be cocky dude.... I was simply asking a question, sine I have never run a tekin product EVER in 18 years of R/C.... But it sounds like the good ol ONE TOUCH setup that NOVAK pioneered lol... What profile you like best for ur rango? Since I will be trying one out for first time tomorrow while my LRP is being sent out

Wasnt trying to be cocky... was just saying. Its cake.

As for a mod profile... are you getting a Hotwire too?

If you are running it without a hotwire, I would set the throttle profile to 2 or 3. More linear.

If you have any Tekin questions, let me know. Would be glad to help you out. Or PM Randy Pike... he also runs a Durango with a 6.5... and is the Tekin Team Manger.

Corey,
Depending on the radio brand, it may give you some initial problems attempting to tune to the radio. I had same thing happen and turned my EPA's to 100 out of 120 available and it synced easily (before that it seemed to be out of range for the ESC). Good luck getting it programmed (the hotwire makes it al very easy to use and setup just the way you prefer)and I think you'll be extremely pleased.

Corey/Lil Jason: check out the Team Driver Setups on www.teamtekin.com for recommended ESC/Motor setups. This will get you very close to what you'd like without the guess work. The V212 software is awesome! FYI the Min brake/Throttle adjustments if set at "0" replicates the older software feel, when increased it will enhance those perameters individually.

I got my order from Tresrey in 3 days. Amazingly fast. Yuji is very easy to deal with and super helpful. If anyone is hesitating to order; dont! I will be ordering some bling items on my next order.

All the regulars on this thread have been very helpful and insightful. This thread is one of the main reasons that convinced me to go with the Durango. Thanks guys!

Say, if you guys like some bling of the gold variety pick up some OFNA 3mm gold nuts. Seriously! Looks like some little gems on the Rango and can actually see light flicker off 'em when I race. Nice and shiny!! Matches the TD gold pretty close too . . .
