What effect does rebound have on the car? More rebound help the wheel follow the terrain on a rough track?

Most of my experience with rebound comes from running an 8lb car. I build the Losi with as close 100% rebound as possible. And yeah, this is to help the car lift itself back up to towards ride height after hitting a bump. And I would agree that on a "surface," like MHOR, zero to very little rebound is ideal. Too much and the car gets a little weird. Not quite bouncy but floaty--like an old lead sled hoopty with worn out struts. It is just plain wrong whatever it is . . .

Congrats to Grape on winning the A-main last night! I just got to think the quick reaction of the turn marshal at the 1 minute mark was the key turning point in that race

http://www.youtube.com/user/MHORRC#p/u/4/08IzVfOwMzs

Unfortunately in the first heat I broke my first servo saver, DNF 2nd heat as my right front lost some screws. B-main for this guy but pulled off a solid victory for the first of the slow guys

The Durango's were running strong at MOHR last night!

Looks like you guys have some serious traction there! What tire do you run?

Well worn J Concepts bar code rears and Losi BK bar or Taper Pin fronts. Pretty much slicks once that track gets worn in.

RANGO! RANGO! RANGO! As Danger would say

On my setup (Grapejuice setup) the BK bars seem to turn in slightly better. I think a few of us run BK's and some run tapers. When they get down to slicks it doesn't matter much

I run 0 rebound since our track is so smooth

How much camber front and rear? Also do you guys sweep that much? Doesn't seem like their is much dust. Also how far are you guys from downtown Denver(Westin Hotel) Thanks again......

I run 0 rear, 1 degree front. I may add 1 degree more as my front tire wear is a little heavier on the outside of the tire edge.

Most of the time the track gets swept when someone grabs a broom or Grapejuice. Most of the time before the first heat and 2wd mod.

Probably about 20-30 minutes from downtown depending on when you leave

Hey guys, i have to replace the front top center shaft, would you go again with the original steel or get the aluminium one from Durango? Honestly i'm not sure and what i find surprinsing is that the aluminium shaft is cheaper prices than the steel! it'S on a 410R and we run on hard packed tight indoor dirt but with lots of air time.

Anyone?

When will you be here? We are rebuilding the track tonight, which means you can't run slicks for a couple weeks till the track grooves in. I run losi pink BK's in the rear(bomb 1 foam) and either pink taper's or pink bk fronts.
