Be careful how much loctite you use! A thin film will bind the CVD if you get it in the wrong spot and is easy to do.

Justin how did you like running that rear weight/skid? Someone else posted in here that they really liked it. See you guys Wednesday! I ordered a new speedo and am returning this one tomorrow. Seems like I should have a spare I guess if I am gonna run the new stuff . . .

I am running Futaba--new R614FF Rx. I thought this was the issue at first. I swapped out the Rx (with a R603FF) momentarily and it worked--the day after it stopped working the 1st time. Plugged it back into the Rx installed in the car and thought I was good to go. Made a few laps last night, overshot a jump a little and done. The LEDs on the speedo go nuts after this happens. Steering but no motor. I just now plugged back in and turned it on. Would you guess that it works? It is almost like the cap is misbehaving. So, I dunno.

Immediately after it stopped working yesterday I plugged back in the other Rx and no go so I believe I have eliminated Rx issue. Seems like the capacitor has to discharge itself (naturally, I suppose) before I get things working again.

I guess I could switch out the cap but will let Novak deal with that. The system is awesome (when working) and I do not want to give up on it just yet . . .

I really like it!! Came at the right time too since it was time to replace the rear bumper anyway. Rearend feels really planted(little more then before with just the side weights), I also went up in shock wt. 2.5 in the rear as well....now I think I am done with the set-up...

It looks like it makes too much since--I might just have to spring for one, but still need to learn how to drive the car . . .
