i agree move the shocks in!! and make sure your rear is all the way foward..and soft springs and ride height plays a big role....your car will be glued to the ground in the rear.. no weights needed imo... and the correct tire and u should be good to go

arms and hubs all the way forward will put more weight over the rear tires, giving more rear traction.

Sorry.. but I have to say this is just a bit of scare mongering.
Yes, I agree that it is best practice to remove any battery from the car for charging. But to say that a Lipo "just" exploded is misinformation. For one, lipos don't "explode".
I don't doubt that you saw a car lighting up whilst charging, but you're leaving out a lot of info, like how was it being charged. what was the condition of the battery etc etc.

I had a mates DEX410 light up in flames mid race. And I heard all sorts of stories after, just like what you've said and even some blaming the car. The truth was, one of the CVD pins came loose and pierced the lipo which in turn caused the pack to light up.

The truth is. If used correctly and charged correctly, it is perfectly safe to charge the packs in the car, but this doesn't mean you don't have to monitor the packs while charging. Lipos will swell way before they light up. swelling often means the cells have gone bad, it is indicative of the seals being compromised somewhere. So if enough oxygen is allowed in, the lithium will react and cause the pack to light up.

I've never taken my lipo's out. If you charge, balance, and store properly I haven't had a problem in 2+years. Plus I'm just lazy and have deep enough pockets to repair anything

I hear there is a 4wd class tomorrow at MOHR
