What else does this car need to be reliable on the track? The steering knuckles are weak? I am getting that feeling from reading posts but still feel foggy about what the situation is.

I am under the impression that these are the same exact batts as the Racer's Edge 5200mAh packs that are advertised to fit perfectly in the Durango. Do not take my word for it but would bet they are the same packs. Just make sure they are 25mm or less in height and you are golden!

Did you get a chance to use them? How did you like them?

I have compared them in person and am pretty sure they come from the same OEM. Either pack will be a great choice for TD cars. I run the racers edge version but in the future I will be purchasing the Protech for the Amain warranty!

The Racers Edge packs have a warranty as well.....Racers Edge 7.4V 45C 5200 Race Edition Lipo Saddle Battery Pack W/Deans Ultra Plug
All our batteries are backed up by our 1 year warranty. Guaranteed to be free of factory defects for one year.

They're both the same packs so whatever floats your boat is the one you should get. RPP has the Racer's Edge packs for $99.99 so they're even the same price as the Proteck packs from A Main.

Good to know, and just for the record I am very pleased with the RE pack.

Grapejuice would know if MHOR sells Tekin. I am running the new Novak Kinetic system so I went with an 8.5, and as Justin mentioned, these systems have very nice dynamic timing advances if you ever need a little more . . .

I've got the hubs but haven't tried them yet, should give more rear traction.
