The Front universals? or the central ones? I've heard of that happening on the v5 as there is little rear anti-flex. Is that happening on your v3/v4?

Sadly i've only run on Dirt/clay, so I'm not much help there sorry.
7.5 should be ok, but I guess depends on how large your track is. I run a 6.5T in mod.

I found this site unloading center universal drive shafts for like $10 shipped. I got the center front and rear. Now I have all universals through out. Gave me a reason to put some new diff oil in them as well. I went 10k front and 7k rear. Now she is so smooth!! I will be running 13.5 stock on carpet with it. Using two hole pistons front 60 oil, and 3 hole pistons rear 32.5.

Well, scratch the carpet idea. I went ahead and put a 5.0 turn motor in it to see what happens. I have a big race coming up in two weeks so I am trying to get everything ready.

Looking for a set of rear arms for a v4. Heard the serpent is very similar? Anyone know of other brands arms that fit?

Did you have any luck? Im thinking of trying the arms from a serpent. Similar shape and for $10 might be worth a shot

I put some Octagons on it and they look great. I also have the 7.5 back in it. I hope to run it soon and get some wear on those tires as I have heard nothing but good things about them. I will soon be replacing this with the EB410, time to move on unless I see a big improvement from the Octagons.

I just added an RSX esc to it for more control and power. I have decided to stay with this until I wear out those tires, lol!

Does anyone have spare “nip” spare parts looking for suspension arms and rims. Maybe a carbon fiber rear shock tower. Let me know what you have with pics. Thanks!

I believe I have some, I'll check. I have many nip parts...but I'm not sure I want to sell just the parts. Buggy is in pretty good shape. LHS here may still have some you could buy

I have a ton of parts and two rollers, one for parts. I picked up a B64D to replace it. What really hurts is I just mounted Octagon tires on it with new wheels, and never used them.

Hello, I recently acquired a dex410 v2 (pretty sure) and would like to know if I can use parts from v3 v4 v5. Im guessing some things must be totally non compatible but some must replace or be near identical.
And also if anyone can point me in the right direction for compatible replacement wheels.
I will be hoarding a little stockpile of parts.
Love this drivetrain layout. Cant wait to get my final things to get it running.

Greatly appreciated

steve

Nearly everything from the V3 and v4 will work on the V2 as I recall, except maybe the Shocks if the v2 you have has small bore. The V5 has many different parts alas, plus they were not made in quantities.
There might be some small changes to the shock tower bulkheads ( pieces which hold the diffs in ) and the battery straps.

Wheel wise, converting to some kind of 12mm hex will allow you to use other brand wheels, or ebay for official/DE 14mm hex rears. Can't remember if the Xray 14mm had the same hold size or offset. If you're racing that's important.
