Tobameister or EKT, I recognize you guys as old timers here in the DEX410 forum. I want to get my buggy running again and had a few questions on current setups. I have original caster blocks, what degree are they and do you recommend the newer ones? whats a good base setups with the newer type B Pistons. I run on medium grip smooth indoor dirt. Cant wait to get back to the track this winter, thx.
Dino's setup is a popular starting point http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango...Raceway201406/

The v3 caster blocks are 17 degrees, some people go for the 19 or 21 blocks for less aggressive steering.

I just built a new v4 this past weekend. Feels like putting on comfortable shoes

I put together my build guide from this weekend on a new V4 I just built. Maybe will help some folks : https://teamtobamiester.wordpress.co...-racers-build/

pretty excited! Just ordered up my DEX410v4! Hope to get it on a track in the next week or two. The only other 4wd buggy I've driven was my B44.3 last winter.
Anyone driven both and can give me a comparison?

i have been fortunate enough to drive both the b44.3 and the dex410v4. i must say the durango with the weight in the rear did rotate very well in corners and was very controllable in jump situations.....
i ran with and without the sway bars and the car just works real well.....
dont get me wrong, theyre both top notch buggies, but the dex410v4 is great out of the box....

You can't argue with B44 results, look at Cav at the Roar Nats!
I tell you what was tough, seeing Neumann coming real close to winning the EFRA 1/10th 4WD Nationals two weeks ago...Not seeing a DEX410 on the podium is a pi$$er...

NEW DEX 410 V4 owner needs advise on what option parts I should consider.
I will be running mainly on 2 outdoor tracks. One being medium sized, very very hard packed dirt; low bite due to dust. The other is very large with large jumps hard packed some areas to loose and loamy in others.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
