Pretty sure the DEX210 shares the same parts tree, different hexes.

Got a close-up picture of the battery strap pin problem? Is it the strap or the diff hoop that's too tight?

I'd advise you use just the rear skid plate to start out. For sure use one or the other, but not both. It's too much.

So I'm "refreshing" my 410. I added the center CVD's and fresh arms.

Are the plastic gears holding up for anyone running a mod motor? 6.5-7.5?

Me too, too bad I can't afford that stuff. LOL

When it comes to drive train, in metal the incubus trusts.

desc210/410 dex210/410 user some of the same parts trees. There are 14 and 15 mm hexs on the tree the 15mm are for the desc210/410.

My diffs are pretty damn smooth so I can't see the plastic gears being that much better. Also mod puts a lot of stress on these drivetrains.

Whats the experience with the CVD's for the front and rear wheels?

The plastic gears are lighter and allow for quicker acceleration and deceleration. I haven't had any issues with the plastic gears, but then again I can see it being a problem if your slipper is set too tight, especially on indoor carpet. The bulk of the strain goes to the diff or the center drive shafts if the slipper is too tight causing premature wear on drive train parts as there is no damping from shock absorption from the jumps and bumps.

As for the CVD on the front and rear wheels. CVD bind more under acceleration, thus this makes the standard axles give you more forward bite. The optional universal tend to give you more side bite plus it is smoother of the bumps and jumps, but it will take away forward traction. If the back of your car slides around, try using the rear universals first. It will plant the car more in corners and have the front pull it around. On high grip tracks, the universal in the front will give you more steering in corners, and having the back as standard tends to give you more forward traction on exit and helps the car rotate more.
