I'd suggest Track Power over Reedy ANY day of the week.

No comparison. My Reedy saddles swelled and burst open on my just 2.5 months after owning them and had only been charged 20 times at best. They did the right thing and sent me replacement saddles but it took some work and convincing that I did nothing wrong.

Venom packs are also top notch. I had a FC ESC shelf short out my leads and catch fire and though the casing on my venom melted, it's none the worse and still holds charge 1.5 years later, charred and all. I don't have that kind of confidence in Reedy. Also Reedy doesn't make their own packs either and they are rather overpriced. Track Power all the way and stay away from SMC. Swelling is like an olympic event those batteries really want to win Gold in. no LOL

Theres only 6-7 manufacturers and non of them deal direct with a consumer, so you'd be surprised how ironic you sound if yo knew who made what

*edited for clarity and shortness*

Which SMC packs have you had trouble with? I've only had two so far of their shorty packs but they have been really good so far. I love how quickly Danny responds too. Sometimes within hours!

Is trakpower a tower brand?

I have to plug the new Xerun 3.1 I picked up from Hobbywing. It's awesome. Sooo smooth, even after 10+ minutes of practice never over 110F.

I bought my son their high end stick pack and it swelled up like a body in the east river within months, and my buddy has 2 of the same and 2 others and all 4 of his swelled just the same.

We live in south Florida so the heat and humidity is tougher on gear than most places but they shouldn't swell to the point of bursting open. The. The solution for getting it fixed is for me to buy another pack. Not what I consider top notch customer service.
