Team Durango DEX410 4WD 1/10 Off-Road Buggy Thread

My front center drive shaft keeps popping out. It appears that I have too much chassis flex. Anyway to fix this?

Finally had a chance to run the new 2 way slipper at SCVRC. Have to say I love it. Very easy to adjust and it seemed to have a nice operating range. I started off tight to make sure I didn't blow it up with my new 5.0 motor and as the night went on I would loosen it up just a touch. it really made the car easier to drive. Less of the bounce you get on tough jumps and I felt like I could get on the throttle much sooner.
All that being said I wonder if durango will adopt a center diff for the V5 car? Maybe they will just call it the Bman410?

hahahahaha, I hear ya brotha!
Forgive me durango fans but I've been looking at the D413. I like some of the elements specifically the shock tower and mount design with lots of extra bracing. It also sounds like my local shop is going to ditch durango and carry hot bodies parts. I do think it's a little too phat though. That's what I dig about my 410. It's very narrow.
BMan it doesn't seem possible to fit a 3rd diff in the standard length chassis is that right? I know your setup is longer...

So Im new to the Durango brand and 4 wheel mod. Had my first race and dominated all the 22-4s. In practice we have a rhythm section and found it better to quad into it. Unfortunately I cased it right on the knuckle of the landing and popped out my front drive shaft as well. Talked to some people and it seems it is a problem on those extreme situations. If you try and twist the chassis it is only front to back that moves, side to side is very stiff. If you have not held a 22-4 they don't move at all. When I get some time I will try and shim the drive shaft so it goes into the center out drive more. Might have to notch the pinion for the set screw.

Tekin's rs gen 2 will power this buggy? I have a brand new one that I was going to sell but when I get the dex410 I would like to use the gen 2?

I'd suggest you sell the RS and buy something that can handle lower turn motors like 6.5 & 5.5 which are the most popular for 1/10 4wd.

My rs gen 2 8.5 ran to hot for my liking, I also found it lacked. Switched it for a flow and a 6.5

Ok. I was just wondering because I sold my 2wd buggy and have the tekin rs gen 2 for sale now so I wasn't sure. What other esc's work good with this buggy?
