I saw Ryan Lutz was running the new AKA Deja vu tire. Are they making evo wheels now for Durango?! or was lutz running a 12mm conversion on his car?

Now that xray is using 14mm rims, I think manufacturers will start making rims for us. I can't see AKA and Proline not taking advantage of that.
Hopefully we can start using those EVO rims or the VTR rims from proline.

I had emailed AKA a while back and they had said their were no plans to bring 14mm evo wheels, so I really hope Ryan was running prototypes and didnt retrofit his car to 12mm. I wish 10th scale would just get it together and come up with a standard like 8th scale. Unfortunately I have a mix of 12mm stuff and 14mm stuff as my wheeler is durango, but my 2wd 10th scale is TLR (formally associated).

Fingers crossed for Proline then....

Thumbs up

I talked with Exotek about 12mm hubs for the Dex410 and they seem to think they will have them very soon. Personally I'd rather have 14mm hubs all around and be able to use all the standard wheels as I think 12mm is a little small sometimes. That being said I'm running 10mm on the front of mine so I can use B44 wheels up front. 12mm in the rear…

I actually have some 14mm hexes from Tresrey but have not used them as I don't have any tires mounted up on those wheels yet. it's hard enough fighting for Durango parts I didn't wanna try and fight for wheels too.

Hi,
I think you misunderstood sorry. I simply mentioned I'm building a new Dex410 so after it's ready later next week I'll know if we can make the 12mm hexes or not.
Honestly though I think the pin location will make the off sets all wrong but we'll see.

Thx

I am on their team now and have already asked for them. Who knows. I would think Jorn would be pushing for them too.

Hey Mike, Thanks for chiming in here. I didn't mean to put you or exotek on the spot. I had meant for that to sound vague and like it might happen not that you definitely would.

At any rate, I hope you can see you would have some customers here!

My apologies….

Mike, you would clean up on those hexes if you are able to make them. So guys lets beg the crap out of him.

I find that the v3 B-Spec arms hold up best because there's no grub screw applying adverse pressure to both the pin and the ends of the arms and as a result can withstand a bit greater force from impacts.

Sadly they're out of stock everywhere I looked.

This is the part number: TDR230037

Waiting on purchasing a 4wd buggy due to parts issues with this one and the 22-4. Still on the fence as to which one I will go with when parts become more available. Owner of my local tracks swears by his V3 durango though, so I was leaning towards the V4.

One thing that may prevent that though is parts issues and not being able to use the common 12mm rim that I use on my 2wd TLR22 2.0.
