Default Motor wires

Hey guys Im hooking up my MMM v3 to my Neu and I was wondering. It doesnt matter which color goes to which terminal for the motor right? And if the direction is wrong I switch it in the esc software?

You don't switch it in the ESC software, no...

Make sure the wires are connected in the proper order... Since it's a sensorless motor, as long as, say, the white wire, is connected to the "white" terminal on the ESC, you'll be fine.

My 2nd Mamba Max is running the motor in reverse, no problem...

Sensored motors, you NEED to pay attention to the wiring order...

Sensorless should have a little more flexability...

But for convenience just plug 'em in, with the proper order

With the neu motors it does not mater which wire is connected to any of terminal posts. If it is running backwards for your application ,just switch any two wires and it will reverse the rotation. The rotation cannot be reversed with the esc. only by physically changing any two wires either on the motor or the speed control.

I'm sure you'll think I'm an ass and cuss me but, IF YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT DON"T TALK!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer the question:

This is the most incorrect statement that could have been made. Sensorless Brushless motors do not care how they get hooked up. You can connect the 3 motor leads in any order you choose. If the motor is running the wrong direction then you simply swap any 2 of the motor wires to reverse the rotation of the motor.

Sensored Brusless motors are a little different. They monitor things such as armature postition. They have to be hooked up in a specific order which will be labeled as A,B,C on the motor and the speed control. You just match letter to letter.
