Questions?? associated b44, a basher?

hi i really love 4wd. i have a 8ight, a lst2, and a mgt 3.0 all nitro.but i also have a bandit vxl. well my bandit is one squirrily buggy off-road( n i dont use a lipo, only 7 to 9 cell nicd or nimh). anyway. i was looking at the b44 the other night and thought "id really love to have one of these". only debate i had was thinking about how an top of the line electric buggy would handle me bashing it. cause i really dont like sanctioned racing. im not planning on any extreme bashing w/ it. but bashing none the less. what are any of you guys opinion on bashing the b44. or is it too delicae for everyday bashing. or would it be a good car to add to my line-up. thanx and all opinions welcome. clay unruh

Best thing you could do is convert a 1/8 buggy
The b44 is plenty durable but not for bashing.
Get a b44 and a 10.5 system and get into some club racing. (You'll enjoy it )

I'd only bash a B44 if I had a healthy stock of parts handy!

Not gonna be as rugged as your 1:8 scale cars but mine puts up with a good backyard beating once in a while. crash parts are pretty inexpensive so you should be all right, nothing beats a nice dirt track though!

If you wanna bash you should get the hpi brama 10b. I also agree, I love offroad racing, especially indoor.

you could custom make aluminum parts for your b44 but that takes a lot of time and money. i costomized aluminum front arms for my xx-4 and its freaken awesome to bash now, but as long as your careful you shouldnt have a problem, but they are definitly right about converting your eight, its the best thing you could do, or if you want to get rid of it I'll take it

I'd want something with gear diffs for bashing. Tamiya and HPI make 4WD's that would more suitable.
