10cx8000 = 80 amps continuous
15cx8000 = 120amps max

Is this enough power?

Edit:
Well I was talking about the 4000 packs, so its only 40 amps cont and 60 burst. If C x mAh) / 1000 = MaxAmps, wouldnt higher C = more power? Where as more mAh has more to do with longer duration?

I originally had purchased 4 of the 11.1 4000 mah batteries 10c/15c
I wired two of them in parallel to make a 11.1 8000 battery. My main concern was that would also increase my c rating. I was a dumb ass and did not pay attention to the original c rating which is not near high enough and caused the packs to get very hot and the car was slow also. I am hoping that by combining two of the I have solved my problem. I was just curious if a continuous 80 amp draw and a max 120 amp draw would be high enough. I know it works in the vxl because I have tested it. My concern is that when I get my losi 4800kv combo back from losi for the 4th time is that i dont know if it will work. Any idea of the amp draw on that losi motor?

I have learned my lesson. I guess $80 shipped for the 4 11.1's wasnt a bad price. The thing that sucks the most is waiting almost 25 days for them to get here from hong kong!

So if i had a 2s 30c 4000mAh pack, it would be faster, but would run for less time, than a 2s 10c 4000mAh? Sorry for all the questions

Correct. (but i am no expert)
Generally the higher the c rating the better. But if your motor is only capable of drawing 100amp as the vileneon 3500 hundred is you have some discharge rate you will never use. This is not a bad thing though. The 2s 10c will not be able to discharge fast enough at full amp draw causing the battery to overheat. This is if you are talking about your max c rating. Most batteries have a continuous c and a max c. I bet that 10 c rating is continuous and your max is around 15c on that pack.

You can`t change the C rating . No matter how you combine the packs they can only handle a certain discharge amp .

I wouldn`t use a lipo with anything lower then a 20C rating except for a rx pack .

what does c rating equal to? i dont know how this works, cuz some batteries just state the max and continuous amperage, so how do i know by max amperage what the c rating is?

I am keeping the same c rating per pack! But since i am running them in parallel I have now doubled my "c" rating. This is basic lipo info.
