I would suggest to get that aluminum brake adapter......mine melted.......I use brakes a lot.

The xxxnt is also a good truck but for ME the gt is much better, I have owned most of the trucks out their and always end up running the gt.

i just traded my onroad car for soem rc10gt"s..got a question here i cranked one of them up today it has the os 12cvx and the truck will not move the engine just revs..i checked the clutch looks allright any idea what would cause this..also my dogbones look like they are just about ready to pop out at the tranny.i mean they sit at the edge i thought maybe the shocks could be a tad to long any ideas???

Does Associated have threaded shock bodies that fit the GT.

What turns? Clutchbell turns Pinion doesn't= check gear mesh too far or stripped pinion.Cluthbell and pinion turn Tighten slipper clutch.Cb Pg and slipper all turn U-Joints dont. Check Gearcase. everthing turns but tires don't Dogbones not engauging shim both ends and check for stripped screwholes on the Rear A Arm mounts buy the upgrades they are worth it. Hope this helps

thanks for the info..i have one more question on your diff bolt are they suppose to be 6 balls in between the washers..i think they are called diff thrust washer's..i was looking at associated's webpage and seen these..mine doesnt have 6 balls in between the washers

Yep, the thrust bearing assembly should have 6 of them.

once again thanks for the help..how do you guys get your throttle return springs to work good?on mine when i adjust it where it pulls it back to idle the servo wont pull it wot..but when i adjust the spring where the servo will pull it wot it doesnt have enough tension to pull it back to idle..these are just standard futaba servo's..also i got the parts ordered for my truck and got them last friday and i have the tranny working awesome now..

I own a xxx-nt now and I did own an rc10 gt. They are both great trucks but the xxx-nt handles better than the gt. The great thing about the gt is that its easy to work on. The xxx-nt is hard to work on but its worth it.
