Default Erevo

In my opinion I would go with the e-revo. Can't really tell you why except that I'm pretty sure the slash is 2wd and the e-revo is 4wd. I could b wrong though. But I'm positive the slash is 2wd.

I will try and answer it this way based on what you wrote.

Basher - E-Revo because its 4wd and can do so much.
Racer - Slash because local tracks support it so much.
Durability - Equal. Maybe a slight advantage to the slash because its so well protected.
Speed - E-Revo by few mph
Maintenance - Slash due to less moving parts to wear out.
Cool factor - The Slash draws more crowds when I go to the races.

Isnt the Slayer based off of the Revo Chassis? Try checking to see if a Slash/Slayer body fits the Revo?

I have an e-revo and love it.....waiting for my new BL e-revo to come in this week from Traxxas, its gonna kick butt!!! I only run mine offroad and im not sure if there are offroad tracks around here to run on. The new vxl e-revo is going to rock with 6S power! Good luck with your decision.
