From NeoBuggy.net

Headline News : Cactus Classic Clash
Posted by Admin on 2009/3/12 2:38:43 (32 reads)

The interweb is hot on gossip surrounding a quarrel/argument/clash at the Cactus Classic between LiveRC founder Brandon Rhode and Keoni M AhYat owner of the SRS facility in AZ, hosts of the Cactus Classic.

It would appear that a prior disagreement relating to alleged unpaid invoices and alleged broken contracts with 2008 1/8 Offroad Worlds organiser Lance Norick (Chief Organizer of 2009 Cactus Classic Event) has spilled over; first between LiveRC & SRS being unable to reach an agreement to broadcast the 2009 Cactus Classic online before the event.
A last minute deal was apparently sketched out between the two parties, however on arrival in Arizona, Rhode was supposedly asked to leave and return the day after to agree a solution regarding coverage. Details are sparse but actions would suggest hidden motives. On returning things appear to have turned sour between Rhode and AhYat as Police got involved and talk of lawyers and courtcases appear to loom.

It would seem murky waters lie beneath the cool calm exterior of our hobby.

Just a guess but I don't think that it will be covered by liverc.

Thank you to all who are posting pics and videos!

Is it just me, or does this layout make the track seem way bigger than before? It looks like it flows a lot better than last years.
