Default ExceedRC???

Does anyone know if ExceedRc electric cars are any good. They now have brushless versions of cars and I am really interested. I am looking for a brand new buggy that is cheap but fast and that seems to be what ExceedRc is. So are they any good and worth getting?

Here is a link to the one I am looking at:

Don't do it as you will buy one and after running it once or twice you will see why it was so cheap and then spend more oney to buy a good one.

Save your money and get something brand name like Losi or Associated and if you want a little different but can still get parts for then Kyosho or Academy. At least any of those you can either have the shop get parts for them and are not a POS!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever you get, good or bad, pick something that has local part support. When it breaks, and it will break, you'll be happy to secure your parts easily.

Good and cheap do not fit for this type of car. If it is good its not going to be cheap and if it is cheap its not going to be good. Keep this in mind when you buying.

If you want a little cheaper you can find some good used stuff if you know what your looking for but you need to be careful and know what you are looking for and how much it cost originally.

It is better to save for a longer period of time and purchase a nice brand name car that has proven over time to be excellent car.

There pieces of crap and no one would stock there parts there a japanese brand and there american corp is redcat racing, also crap you will regret buying it big time

i think this is funny

the most popular 1/10 4 wheel drive electric power off-road buggy in the world just got better! At each evolutionary step, the SunFire has been improved upon to keep it at the peak of the RC off-road buggy field.

I wouldnt be surprised if it is the most popular. People just google "cheap nitro rc car", or "cheap rc car". That brings them to redcat, himoto, exceed, all those crappy brands and dont looks on forums.

I think you got your countries mixed up, I believe they are a Chinese brand and not Japanese. Japanese RCs and products are on par with our American made brands.

That is hilarious indeed! Which field are they talking about? They must be smoking crack because you don't see these buggies out in the field anywhere. It'll usually break before it even gets there with no way to fix them!

If in doubt, don't cheap out. There's the age-old saying of "you buy cheap, you buy twice (and perhaps a third time)"

I thought about the hpi burma but as I looked at it and it even said that is is basically the same as the e10. I bought the e10 and it was a really crapy car. The tamia buggies seem to be good cars and that is what I might eventually get. But thanks for letting me know not to get an exceedrc.
