What is the fastest motor out there for a stock slash esc. I'm looking to upgrade the stock motor ( I can't clear the double at the track ) Thanks

Aren't most slash classes a "stock" spec type class?

If your track allows it your stock esc can handle anything 12 turn and above... Basically what the slash comes with... So the stock motor is the best you can use with the stock esc.

I would say trash the stock esc and motor and throw a good "mod" brushless system in it!

BUt you might wanna try different shock and spring packages.... If you just cant clear a double.

The lipo idea is a very good idea too!!!

the stock esc can do 15 turn 540 and 12 turn 550 if you run a 12 turn 540 motor you will smoke it. get a speedgems 15 turn

Took the Slash stock esc and motor out and put a Speed Passion 13.5 in, SWEET!!!

Put the Slash esc and a 15x2 in my T4 (where the 13.5 came from) to see how good the esc is. Was very surprised it worked very well!!!

XL-5 will run a down to a 12 turn 550 motor and a 15 turn 540 motor.

the 5800 geared 17/86 works awsome. I beat a t4 in a drag race with a 5.5 and lipo. funniest 5 second all nite
