Default Can I up my pinion???

I want to get the most out of my car and would like a bit more torque. It's not a real straight away track other than the back straight and a few of the jumps are right after some little speed bumps...so just wanting a little help getting over them. Pics of the track below.

Obviously no jumps, but they are definately there.

I have a 10.5 losi xcelorin setup on a xxxt-cr. I was thinking maybe a 24 tooth pinion? I have a 21 on it right now I believe, it may be a 20.

Questions?? bump up

what type of set up are you using brushed or brushless .if you need more low speed power or torque go down a pinion or 2 and see if that will give you what you need ,going up is for top end or for the backstraight speed and will reduce your low end torque .just try different pinions til you find a happy medium point for both .hops this helps

the xcelorin is brushless. had good luck with the couple times i've actually ran it on the track for practice. so far i like it. i just need to get some torque for the jumps. i will try an 18 or 19. I wanna say the spur is an 84.

No, Don't go down. Go up ! Pop a 24 on there. I run a 24 on a 10.5 and am tempted to go to a 25.

BL have lots of torque. Your under geared.
