Default 22nd Annual Pro-Line Cactus Classic

The 22nd Annual Pro-Line Cactus Classic is scheduled for March 14-16, 2008 at Scottsdale R/C Speedway.

Entry fliers will be in the March Issue of RC Car Action due to hit Hobby Shops and Newstands towards the end of this month. When that happens, we will have information to sign up for this years event on our website.

New to the event this year will allow LiPo in every class offered. Please stay tuned to our website for updates to the rules and classes: www.scottsdalerc.com

Once again SRS will have Live RC for the event.

For questions regarding the event, please call 480-945-2186.

Is there a weight requirement? Lipos are lighter than sub c batteries. We still use sub c cells and they weight more. I'll have to cancel our battery order and get some lipos.

Thanks, we'll use our cells. Looking forward to your series at SRS. Racing on a blue groove is our set-up.

I have actually changed the website to reflect that any "Hard Cased" lipos will be allowed. All classes.

Only hard case? Other races allow a non hard case LiPos with a Liposack.

Yeah and the 4wd people will pretty much all be out of luck since there are no saddle pack hard cased lipos. Like Alex said, most races are allowing any Lipo as long as a lipo sack or battery bunker is used for charging. The CRCRC race this coming week is that same way.
Almost all the local racers running lipo are running the MaxAmps packs purchased at SRS. They will all be SOL.
