It's a great charger, I've owned it for about a month now. I'm planning to buy two more. It's the same one that's rebranded and sold by several name brand companies. The difference between it, and the name brand ones, is that it's missing the American distributor, and retailer mark up. It's sold directly from China, so it doesn't have to sit in the warehouse of an expensive US company before you receive it. Oh, you also miss out on a nice full color package, and well written instructions. I don't think that's a big deal, considering you can buy 3 of them shipped for one of their name brand counter parts.

Yes, you will need a 12 volt power supply. I recommend at least a 5 amp supply. The same site has 16 amp supply for $40... I would go with that one.

The charger comes with aligator clips, which you can clip off and add your own, or just clip em to your supply. It also ships with a bunch of different charge leads.

Actuall if you are running brushless stock truck, then you will want the best battery you can get your hands on! Minimal of 25C at least! Trinity makes some awesome 35C lipos and they can be had for good money, I just got 2 on ebay for $124 or at GS Hobbies for $89 apiece!

With stock the more "C" ya can get means the more bang from the motor!
Its a VERY noticeable difference!
