Default Lipoly's

I have had some small lipolys for helis and 1/18 scale, but never any big ones for like 1/10 scale and such.I was thinking I may as well bite the bullet and get some so my question is what is the least mah would you guys go,I dont want to spend a butt load of money but at the same time I dont want to waste my money either. And how do the mah compare to a nimh are they about the same as far as run time.I am looking to get 3s batteries if that help and where is a good place to get some.OK enough questions for now

When I changed over to lipo on my 18th scales from NiMH, I got 25-30% increase in run time. I'm in process of doing same with my bigger scales and expect the same increase. I had some where run time doubled - but I also increased capacity over what I had run with NiMH.

Personally, I'd get the biggest capacity and best lipo I could afford for the batt compartment you're dealing with. Def don't get lipo with less mah. Here are some places to look for lipos - these are the good ones -

Check out this: http://www.all-battery.com/111vli-po...ks.aspx?page=2

I have bought several batteries from them nimh and lipo with good success. I currently run 2 of these(IN series for 6s) in my 1/8 brushless buggy and they do great:

They would likely be too big physically for 1/10 scale. But these are all the same size as a regular stick pack:

http://www.all-battery.com/111volt-4...tterypack.aspx (A LITTLE THINNER THAN STICK PACK)
http://www.all-battery.com/111volt-3...tterypack.aspx (A LITTLE THINNER STILL)

They have a VERY helpful customer service dept. Orders made a few months ago shipped fast, I did have a little slower service last time(2-3 weeks ago) but they said it was due to Holidays, and I believe them. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah go to EBAY and search in community for all-battery and they're even less on there.

oh well here's the link:

I have had good luck with batteries from this place,

http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com

I have their Elite 4800Mah 25C 2S lipo batteries. They cost $65. 3S are $98. They have performed well thus far but mine are not very old.
