Default Grass Tires

Do any of you guys drive your buggys in your yards and around the house? My brothers buggy doesnt seem to want to go anywere in the grass with step-pins compared to our truggys. Is it just because of the size of the tires and a little more ground clearance or would this kind of tire help:

What tires you guys use at home for messing around. Seems like any kind of pin tire the brushless is going to tear it up.

Sten pin style tires work the best, there are some ifmar studs out there that are more aggressive than proline step pins...

Grass can have a lot of traction. Are the step pins clinging and winding up in the grass too much -- too much grip.
