Bob

Those banners have been available through Tower Hobbies all year because Hobbico printed them for us this year. That seller is Hobbico.
This is for everyone.
If you are a participating track in the NCCS and wish to use that logo on fliers etc please email me and I will email you the NCCS logo. We will also have NCCS banners available through JAB Graphix the tracks can buy they will be 2x2 banners for $15.
Decals will be available also each track will get a discount code so they can purchase the decals at a reduced cost and be able to resell them. JAB will have decals priced for the general public at $1.50.

I just answered a PM question that I think should be stated here.

We require a track have electronic scoring. Meaning transponders. Autoscore, RC Scoring Pro or any other scoring software are fine. We want to have results backups in either text, html or pdf uploaded to the site for backup in case anyone questions their points later.

I have to get with Bobby and see if he has it setup yet. We are still working out some things but this is what he said he would do. We just finalized the decal sheet and I'm waiting on the artwork for the banner so I can ok that.

I think JAB and NCCS will be able to make an announcement this week on that and a prize JAB will be offering for the top 3 Nationally this year.

I have 2 companies I'm working with now on sponsorship that I should be able to announce later this week.

Hobby Shops

NCCS has a web ad section to the right where the current Google ads are just for local hobby shops. We are offering web ads for local hobby shops for $15 per month with a minimum of 3 months or pay for 11 months and get the 12th free ($165).
Since our NCCS site is tied into the rcsignup site it should get plenty of traffic. I will have a link for the NCCS on the main RC Pro site plus I hope to have an upcoming race widget for NCCS there too.

I have a transponder system, but would you exclude a track that did hand entry into AlyCat, for example?

I've had to do that kind of scoring and I know sometimes it's not very accurate depending on who is pushing the buttons. The question is accuracy. I 'm for letting as many tracks as possible enter this thing but I wonder how many people may contest the results? I'm open to input on this.

There are those in between cases where someone is having some bizzare problems with their ride, and you elect to hand count that 1 vehicle, even though you have a scoring system. I bet folks in a region that don't have many tracks might want to get scored and be in the series if it comes down to 1) questionable accuracy or 2) no local race.

Yes they do! I'm pushing hard for this class in Southern Alberta.(Lethbridge & Medicine Hat). I know Calgary has a big following of Slashes. There is alot of them sold around town. We just need to get it out to the public and let them see how much fun these trucks really are. Keep them stock (as per rules) race and have fun. We are racing them indoor on carpet, and jumps, and we are having a blast. In the summer time run them outside, run them all year round.
