Default 2.2 Blade Front tires question

I purchased a set of 2.2 proline blades for my T3 and realized I do not know which way to mount them. Do the pins go to the outside of the rim or do they go on the inside toward the chassis?

Thanks for helping on onroad guy learn new tricks.

nevermind. I surfed over to the website and the pins go to the outside.

Proline web site: http://www.prolineracing.com//p-449-...ck-wheels.aspx

Shows pins on the outside of the wheel. But they can be mounted the other way too. Depends on the type of traction you want.

How do you like the Blades? I was looking at getting a set of them also.

Dont know yet. A bunch of the guys are running them at Mikes in Carrolton Texas. It is a hard packed clay track so it fits in with the description of what the tires were designed for according to the ProLine website. I thought I would give them a whirl next time I get up there. I live 2 1/2 hours away so I dont get up there as often as I would like.

Mount them with the Pin on the outside of the wheel.

I have been running the Pro-Line Blade for a couple of years now and I love that front tire. On a dry to dusty track with not very much traction they work great.

I have used them on a wet clay track but they seem to pack the small pins pretty easy and then they push really bad.

They look like they were designed to work either way but they work best with pins out...
