I did buy the Trinity Pulse and ran it last night. It ran really slow. Do you guys mess around with timing? I tried running a 78/25 and a 81/25, but it didn't seem to help. Thanks, Doug

Doug, I'm with the group that comes from MI a few times a year to run with you guys @ Leisure. I've noticed that most of you undergear your 13.5 motors. We're running between 26-78 and 31-78 depending on the track. 150-170 is the temps your looking for in a six minute run.

Thanks, but do you recommend messing with the timing? I'm going to Columbus this weekend so I'll have to try gearing for more top end. Thanks again. -Doug

We've changed timing via the esc, but not messed with the motor timing much.

OUt of the ones to choose from, I say Novak with the sintered rotor! That thing is strong, but....

The Losi Xcelorin is an absolute beast! Lots of people have switched to the losi motors around here! With a good lipo we run 10 minute mains even and stock truck lap times are just as good as the mod buggies!

They seem to have a bit more torque and bottom end punch with maybe even a lil more top end as well, stright outa the box! The ESC is also easy to adjust via the usb connector. They can take some insane gearing too!!!!

You definately will want to buy the sintered rotor then!
It wakes the Novak motor up for sure! Part# NOV5909
Just not as much as the losi out of the box.

Have fun!
