Triton 2 with bad buttons! Is it worth it to send it in for a fix?

Just thought I would get some opinions on this. Early last summer I bought a very lightly used Triton 2. Tword the end of the summer race season the Menu change/batt type buttons stopped working correctly. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they didn't so it turned out to be quite a problem. My question is,since the charger is no longer under any kind of warranty is it worth it to ship it to Great Planes and see if they will fix it. Has anybody out here had the same problem with the Triton 2 and what if anything did you try and do to fix it? I'm stuck with a charger that does not work what should I do.

The buttons no longer work! Has anybody sent theirs into Great planes for service?

i would first see how much it will cost and then if its like 20 30 bucks i would send it in just so you can have a extra charger

I sent my Trion Jr 2 in for warranty repair when its buttons quit working. It was fixed and turned around in 3 weeks no questions asked.

If you want to try something first , you can clean out the switch ith motor spray. I've had great results taking the charger apart, pulling the knob off and rinsing the actual swith out and drying it. 90% success.
