Absolutely! Like I said, the man is not stupid. The new speed control stops my complaining about my truck’s cogging issue and the diamonds, well they take care of everything else. His motto: A happy wife equals a happy life.

And yes, I do occasionally use the smoke detector as a food timer.

Welcome and congrats on the great gift! You shouldn't have much trouble finding someone local that has one to race or bash with! They are a complete blast for whatever you do with them.

Thanks, Yea Im getting the bashing part down preety good went out today and bought a 9.6 3600mah and it is crazy fast compared to the 7.2 1500 that came with it.

I get no complaints from my wife. I am building a FT T4 that I got for Christmas and when she wants to talk she'll just sit beside me while Im wrenching and we talk. Im not too crazy about her coming to the races though because, 1) I like hangin with the guys and taking about r/c stuff not curtains and floor rugs. 2) There is usually not a lot of chill time with racing, marshalling and pitting friends.

My folks bought me a KO Propo EX-10 radio. The other relatives (and my wife, though begrudgingly) donated cash and gift certificates, which I then used to order the new KO Propo transmitter module, a couple receivers, the Mini-Z module, and a Trinity hauler bag. I pretty much just wanted R/C stuff this year...all the things I can't really justify buying on my own dime. I went a couple hundred over my "budget" but after I sell off the old radios/transmitters, it should be a wash.

well with the money ive spent and will spend next week i end up with...
titanium nitrade hinge pins, gold shock shafts, and titanium ball studs for my losi xxx-t mf2. Then i bought an orion 3800 30c battery, a jconcepts carrying bag for my stuff, a personal transponder, and thats about it.

i got a new xxxt body couple cans of paint 6 new air filter for the muggy and 58 mm turnbuckles for the muggy so i can do a steering mod to it and i still have $130 to spend bought all that at the lhs and i might have to pay amain hobbies a visit
