All red lights on the esc is good means your getting power to it

Just go back to your desk top and double click the hot wire shortcut to open the program. Sometimes mine does not find it either just by plugging it in.

Hope that helps.

If not remove the program and download it again it should work

My case cracked tonight. Can I just buy a new case or do I have to send the esc in for repair? I looked on the tekin site but didn't see cases.

Has anybody been in contact with Tekin Europe? I'm about to send them my rx8/t8 combo (mentioned about this problem in this thread a few days ago). I've send them an e-mail two days ago and haven't received an answer...
What is approximate time of the warranty repair?

Question, I've had this very minor but annoying problem for a while now, but i think its just a spektrum problem. well in my tc with rs, spektrum, savox, it takes a second to power up, no big its almost as fast as my cuzns but almost no matter how close i turn it on to the radio it boots up fine, inless i literally stick the areal on the car. now for the EXACT combo except Rx8 if i turn the buggy on within 2ft from my radio (ex. when both are on my pit table) it act all confussed, lags, servo chops and wont stop till i rebind it which is a pain in the buggy because the receiver is in a screwed in case. last year 1 weekend i got fed up and just left a bind plug left in the case and rebinded it every race. whats causing this with rx8 but not my little rs?

This was posted somewhere in this thread, and I saved it. I make no claims as to whether it is accurate or not as I don't know.

LED 1 = TEMP 120<
LED 2 = TEMP 140
LED 3 = TEMP 155
LED 4 = TEMP 160
LED 5 = TEMP 175
LED 6 = TEMP 190
LED 7 = TEMP 210
SHUT DOWN = TEMP 240f

Exclamation motor temp / gearing

gday, just finnished building an Agama A8 E conversion, ive fitted an RX8,
and have 2 T8s,2050,and 1700 kv.
I fitted a Mugen centre g-box to utillise the 44t & 46t light weight plastic spur-gear's.
the diff's are std Agama 10/43.
I have 2 pinions,17t & 19t,to chose from.
Battery -Protech 4s 50c 5600ma.

For the first test ive used the 1700 ,19t pin ,& 44t spur, with a final drive ratio 9.954/1,@top speed of 56kph.(by my calculations)
the speedy and batt temp low,but motor's getting to 180+fairly quickly,
By my reconing i can reach @58kph with the 2050,46/17,11.63/1 ratio.
My question is,which is better,ie,lower motor temp.am i asking too much of the 1700?and if i gear for less speed will temps drop?
i will try the 17t pinnion next,11.13/1,@50kph,Am i going the right way ?
