Same thing happened to mine, it started glitching and then just crapped out, wasn't running an external BEC though. Do you have the Hot Wire? Mine would still power up through the Hot Wire.

I sent mine in last week, it's already done and on it's way back home, in the mean time i bought another new RX8 / T8 system lol.. So now i have two complete systems..

Default ESC shutting down
Hello Guys,

I need some help in isolating an issue that I had tonight. I am running on an indoor track small to med size.
  • I am running a Tekno sct410 with an RX8 with the 4300 HD motor
  • Geared with a 15 pinion
  • tried different IP packs 7200 at 80C
In my 2 heats and main my truck turned off about 3 minutes into the race. After about 5 seconds, it started to drive again. When this happens, my steering is still working. When I tempted it, motor was at 155 and esc was at 135.


I do not know what to try out next>? I also installed a new sensor wire.

Loaded the new software in my RX8, smoother throttle and brakes, nice upgrade Tekin!!!

Do you have a trade in program for the RS, would like to try the gen II rs, even though my current one seems pretty good.

what radio and servo?

Did you try using the stock Rx8 bec? Sounds like the CC bec is failing.

Airtronics m11x and xp1015 team associated servo? It was working fine without issues with the 4600...

ok I'm resting an RX8...downloaded the new software (because the Hotwire program said to).

It shows 224 but still won't allow me to update my RX8 or change settings...

Plugged the car back in to just make a run without the setting changes....now it won't even let the ESC turn on. (but I get power to the servo and radio just no lights or anything on the ESC) If I plug it in, I keep getting the message to update my hotwire... any suggestions?

Yes red wire was removed through a short servo extension to no damage rx wire

Yes and it was bogging out my fans so i switched to an external bec, i now have another rx8 on the truck and its working great!

So my most recent replacment is now having issues kinda gettin tired of tekin, when i turn the esc on there is no arming itsjust on no beeps or anything but seems to work fine any suggestions?


Has anyone had issues with an rx8 and a flysky fsgt3b
