1/10th Off Road is going to be around forever for one reason IFMAR! Along with 1/10th 4wd and 1/12th Scale! These are some of the original and most prestigious classes. Truggies have come and gone in are area Our gas night is 90% 1/8th buggy. Electric day is Mostly 2wd and 4wd Buggies and maybe 4 or 5 Trucks. I think trucks have seen there day also.

Not to mention, racers will end up paying that price every 8 months when the newest, best, most advanced 1/10 off road vehicle comes out, again, and again, and again.

I do,
there so much people switching to Xray here. The car is so durable. It's almost anti-commercial do make something that strong !

As long as each new version is better than the last, you bet!

Just as with Xray's T2 series, T2 then 007, then 008 and now 009, each one has gotten better, maybe just a little, but better. That also keeps the value of a used chassis up.

You mean manufacturers like Kyosho, Hot Bodies, Schumacher, Associated, Losi, Academy, Tamiya, X-Factory etc?? What manufacturers (besides Xray) are you waiting for?

There is almost 100% probability that XRay won't make electric buggy in next year (prolly not even in next few years) regarding to Martin Hudy. I talked to him on about 2 weeks ago on local race about it. They aren't preparing even electric 1/8. At least that's what he said.
Sorry for bad news, I would like to see Xray buggy as well
