I would say if your batteries do not reach that 115d - 120degree mark w/a peak det of .06...go for it. If it's getting to high, (temp) back-it down.

YAH I'm still a Novice! I found out why my truck wasnt getting the zip that others had. The diff was slipping and my GT7 wasnt set right only getting 3/4 of throttle. Lucky I found this out before race night. (thanks to RON at RC Plus) Won my heat race and secured the TQ. At the start of the main, my starting position was close to the corner and at the start I gave it full throttle of which I'm not use to haveing, and I pushed the front end through the corner hitting the wall flipping over and coming out of it dead last! I did manage a run back up to 2nd, but couldn't catch my rival. I did take back the point lead and cant wait for this Friday night. NOVIS NOVIS NOVIS!!!! *&@_&@!&%^ LMAO!

hi guys.... just got my T4 Team kit.

Just wondering are there any aftermarket chassis for the T4? either from AE or any other company?

Also whats a good modified motor for this beast, ie. how many turns and winds.

Cheers

I like the reedy 19t quad mag., or the reedy 14x2, or 12x2 krypton. make sure you set the slipper also when you put the motors in.

Browndawg, glad to hear you discovered your shock prob. Ron @ Rc plus is the man. I didn't even think about your speedo, that was a good catch. Keep up the racing it sounds like the new Eugene track is going to open in May. Can't wait my stuff is getting dusty.

browndawg, I've been trying to get some info on the Eugene track for a while. I know if you call Eugene toy and hobby they have the low down. It sounds like some club dues will need to be paid and that the track is open for play. I believe races will start next month sometime weather permitting of course.

Just when I was getting the Amain track figured out they changed it! They actually changed it for the better They made it faster but more technical, with the only draw back is they put a quad mega jump down the back stretch. Your too slow if you just double but you have to come out of the corner clean to triple and to quad is impossible with a truck. Thats what we get for letting some buggy guys rebuild the track! Oh well makes us good at resetting our trucks up to new conditions.
