Default CC Monster Max ESC Waterproof?

Simple as that. Is the V3 version of the monster max waterproof? I just ordered one and I was thinking I saw it somewhere, but now I can't find it. I'd hate to fry it cuz I had the wrong idea...

Castle uses a silicone conformal coating which makes it water resistant, but don't dunk it in water. It's a great controller and it has a great company backing it 100%.

I'd be wary of anything claiming to be "waterproof". You still have all the metal parts of the vehicle that can get wet, and rust....such as bearings, tie rods, screws.... depending on the material made from, etc....
"Yes my car is technically illegal, but still its either just as fast or slower than any other car on the track so whats the issue with it being illegal?"

Well it is a brushless ESC hence you will run a brushless motor and BL motors arent water proof so it doesnt really matter

well i can tell you i watched my buddys E revo land in a huge puddle that covered everything but the wing...we thought it was toast because nothing worked,he even took it back to my house and hosed it off with the esc still in because we thought it was toast any ways..well he took it home blew it out with air and dried it with a heat gun...and like magic it works fine! I would not recommend you try this but there is a good chance if you get it shut off and dried out after you dunk it it will be ok
