and the t-plates are a pain to install they have one bolt going thru the upright and it can be a booger to place right. it's nothing to turn you away from the truck though.

Well if your breaking arms on your T4 try running the GT2 arms up front. I switched mine over to the RPM GT2 front arms. You will also have to swap out the castor block and steering block and get the outer pins for the GT2. After that no more broken arms. Atleast up front that is.

get a slash, its watter proof out of the box.

but if you do go with a pede or rustler, be sure to get the 2008 version that has steal trany gears, and larger bushings.

yes there is a new version, LOOK!

ewww get a real rc car. (losi) or (associated) i prefer losi cuz they are more durable outside and the cr trcuk absorbs all the bumps in your way. they are too smooth.

Im not a fan of Losi, at my local track there is only a hand full the Losi the run. I love AE there car's are really good and i have no problems. But the shocks can be a pain in the ass, but thats life. I dont like the style of the losi truck there body is fat and ugly. Just my 2 cents.

thank you guys for all your responses.
as much as I'd like to go with the T4, it appears they are meant more for racing. As i've mentioned before, I need a something that can withstand jumping off my roof. I do know that a rustler is highly capable of that, from experience. I can recall several years back when I was "racing" against an RC10. We had run into each other by accident and the RC10 broke a part of some sort.
I'll probably start off with a rustler for bashing. If I end up wanting to race, then I'll get a T4 for racing.
It makes life simpler this way.

wtf? the t4 is one of the two top racing trucks! the t4 is more fragile with the shock caps and arms. the losi is more durable in my mind.
