Default RC Electric Car Book

As a newbie and with the purchase of my new RC10T4 RS, I was looking to educate myself regarding my car and the hobby. I'm thinking about purchasing the following book:

http://www.amazon.com/Electric-RC-Ca...9007904&sr=1-2

Has anyone read this book or think it would be helpful. It seems geared for exactly for what I need, but I thought I would get the opinion of some experienced people on this forum.

Thanks

Dorion

Just ask your questions on here and put the money towards your rc, you can find most answers with a little searching on the web, most r/c makers give go info on their site to, you could read all the info in the world, but to become a better drive you need track time.

You have the internet, what do you need a outdated rc book for ?

Just read online articles or pick peoples brains. T4 isn't rocket science.

Remeber this...... Righty tighty... Lefty loosy...

Your money is better spent for RC stuff - use the internet and forums like RCTECH and others to learn what you need to know. Invest a little trime in just reading, you'll start to pick it up in a hurry.

www.rc10b4.com was THE site when the B4 and the T4 were released. Do a search on that site and I bet most of your questions will be answered!!

^^ must go faster has it sussed. Go to the manufacturer sites. They have all the good stuff on set-up's, principals, etc.

There is some good stuff on here and a few of the other forum sites too, but there is a lot of BS that goes with it!

www.rc10.com is good

I've found the best thing this site is for is seeing what problems others have had with their cars, and how they were solved. That's gold.
I just got a used xxx-4 and read through all 77-odd pages of posts. A lot of junk, but some stuff that has helped me NOT make the same mistakes others made
