df02 / tt01 brushless gearing?

hey there ive got a very unique question. ive seen a tutorial of it and im going to convert my tt01 into a offroad buggy using some df02 parts ( the arms the front hubs and steering system ) and put them onto my tt01 chassis and use all the oither tt01 bits and make my own shock towers and stuff . but i am clueless on how i should gear the car. i will be using a ezrun 5.5t brushless motor (6000kv) with the 60 a esc and i have read through alot of froums for the df02 and they say that 16/70 is a good gear combo , i know ill have to cut up the tt01 chassis abit for the 70 spur to fit . i am just wondering if any 1 can tell me if this gearing will work or if it will flop. is there a different gearing you would recommend?
