Pictures of my very old buggy

and very beat up too. My dad got this car for me when I was 10 or 11 and I'm 21 now, so yeah, it's old.

that actually doesn't look that old but 10 years is pretty long.

jamminnay 12-08-2008 06:48 PM

looks like it is still in pretty good shape! ten years is not that bad..

gndprx 12-08-2008 06:51 PM

Doesn't look a whole lot different from the current Bandit layout honestly.

Clean it up and run it. Should still provide plenty of fun.

MrLesac 12-08-2008 07:34 PM

there really isnt much of a difference of the current bandit, slipper clutch and chassis color is different, as well as wheels. but thats about it.

it still runs and stuff, it just dies fast and isn't fast..

I'd like to fix both those problems though.

Do they make better motors and batteries for my car still or?

not home 12-09-2008 08:07 AM

there arent specific motors for any car. any motor will work as long as it fits with your speedo limits.

Pro, you should pass by the Traxxas forums. There are hundreds of people who know TONS about the Bandit. There is now the Bandit XL-5 and the brushless counterpart, the VXL. Both are extremely fast and the electronics could be swapped onto yours if needed of course. RPM still makes tons of parts for Traxxas products too, so you could bulletproof your old Bandit.

Man a nice old bandit! bet its still bullet proof... Need any help getting it going? I can help ya out if you need it

HA!

Wiper arm willy...please provide your own throttle servo, but don't make it a good one cause there's a good chance it's gonna catch on fire!
