Wow, only two weeks away.... time to start getting stuff ready.

I'm in for mod buggy and probably 4wd... and I'm wondering what the stock buggy classes will look like this time.

Are most guys going to run 13.5 (super stock) buggy again? Anyone running 17.5/27t(stock)?

Ya, we have been getting a decent turnout of Slashes every week.

I have tomorrow off, so I will stop in and ask Billy about this and get a definite answer to you. I imagine Mack is right though, if it isn't on the flyer, then prolly not, but I'll confirm and post it on here.

I'm way pumped for this race!!!! I'm looking for a little redemption. I'd like to aim a little higher than the "L" main this time.

I spoke with Billy yesterday about the Slash issue. He is NOT having any Slash class for the Big January race, and confirmed that if it's not on the flyer, then it's not included.

Hope that helps...and sorry!

I think this is the right call. Certainly nothing against the slash guys, as my son has one, and loves racing it. It just seems that this is usually the class that has transponder issues, etc... I just club raced in STL at Smac Trac, and one of the things they do, that I would love to see Billy do is run things through consistantly. They let the computer run, and give you 2 minutes from the end of the previous race, until the timer goes off to start the next race. If you weren't there, or broke in warmups, to bad. I'm certainly not saying they haven't waited on me before, because they have, but it would make things go so much quicker if they stuck with their guns, and just went on. 2 minutes is barely enough time to get guys down from the stand, stuff back, and on the track to marshall. It could be 2:30 and would probably be perfect. Something to consider for this upcoming race.

Billy was going to do an oval... but he heard Sasquatch had too much wheel time on that, so now he's going to do all 180's and double-doubles LOL

that's cool, ya know when your wife is about to have a baby and you only get 1/4 of practice and guys have been at the track turning a double double into a quad....sigh....so much frustration

For the guys running castle brushless motors, how do they compare to a brushed motor?
4600=?
5700=?
Normally run a 12 or 13 brushed in 2wd.

Default castle

The 4600 is more like a 12-13 wind and the 5700 is like a 10 wind. When I ran castle stuff I ran a 4600 in 2wd and a 5700 in 4wd.
