Building my XXXT-CR
I am well on my way into the front clip build and am at the part where my spindles need to go on. My problem is that the pin that drives top to bottom thru the spindle, thru the knuckle, and out the bottom of the spindle. the washer that spaces the knuckle and spindle wont slide on to that pin. Am I just not pushing hard enough? I don't want to mess things up, but i've never done this before so I don't know what kind of force is okay to use.

this one may be a bit more difficult to diagnose.....
building the diff, i opened up the bag (bag D) and it had some washers to hold the diff balls down, as well as some bronze shims. I put those in and well...I have two others that I don't see in the instructions. I want to say they are .010" x 1/2". There's two of them so it may be another shim set but does anyone know??

They are used only if you don't use the bronze colored ones under the main silver diff rings/washers. Suggest using the bronze jobs and forgetting the extra thin shims.

my motor cover screws have no head cut out can i get those somehow? maybe thru losi direct, or would the hobby shop have them?

RPM has a nice upgraded cover
Don't have one but looks like it's suppose to seal better than the stock cover.
EDIT: Doh! You meant the Motor cover/gaurd with the "TL" in it didn't you... oops. :P

I'm not sure what you're saying, but if it's the rear motor guard, and you are referring to no countersinking, you’ve got something wrong. The guard on the bottom goes on top of the chassis, the countersink is in the chassis for the flatheads. The top doesn’t use flatheads so no countersink needed.

i've got it all put on correctly its that the screws themselves dont have the hex cut into them its nothing major, lowes probably has what i need. i can go in with the thread/pitch of it and snag a couple. i also need a good hex set anyways.
