Default XXXT-CR gearing question

i have a Losi XXXT-CR truck and i am having some heat issues. everything spins smooth and i think i have the wrong gearing.. i have a 30 pinion and a 78 spur. i run a SS13.5 with a GTB and the temps can get a little high after a couple of minutes ..
am i gearing it wrong?

i would start at 24/82 and go from there if the temp is low with that gearing then move up the pinion one tooth at a time from there

Your geared way to high. 24/82 and work your way up!
